RE: PMs.....it's because there was corruption in some of the database tables. This was also the reason for the cross posting and should all be fixed now (except for messages you've already received).
There was a PM sent to me on Sat 7/25/2009 7:49 AM. But did not see them in my inbox. This is okay as I can see them via my email. However, the notification for new messages just doesn't go away.
Finally, my sent box is empty. But the storage gauge shows that I have 5 messages in my sent box.
First Row: Notification doesn't go away.
Second Row: Inbox
Third Row: Sent Box
In the Jump to Folder drop down box, it says 0 messages

Yeah that's one of the problems that came up as mentioned on the first page Jords. It would only have happened for those few hours on Saturday morning.
