how to remove Rain X?

okay I'm really asking this on behalf of a friend of mine, who decided to apply Rain X onto the windscreen and is regretting it now.

bar replacing the entire windscreen, or letting the Rain X repellent wear off on its own, is there anyway to expedite the process of getting rid of it?

takes a while to get used to how the water beads off and I suggest try to get used to it

otherwise it only takes a mth or two for it to wear out most of it in the weather.

she reckons it causes the wipers to jump too much for her liking, hence she's asking around as to how to get it removed.

not in torrential rains, like the ones experienced in Singapore on an almost daily basis.

apart from extremely heavy showers you shouldnt need them, otherwise, im not sure how to remove it.

maybe wash the windscreen alot more often or something?

yeah I would think it's in good nick coz it's a brand new C4. but...

I guess I'll tell her to just let it wear off on its own then.

if it is jumping alot then its time 2 change the wiper arms....not just the blade....

To fix the wipers jumping, get Sonax windscreen additive. Get her to use the washers everytime she uses the wipers for the next few days and the skipping will go away.
