mate where did you pick up the red badges? I got a black FD2 and wouldn't mind wacking on those badges..

how much do they cost and are they difficult to install?

My dealer got me the badges, they were like $100, but the dealers do love to rip you.

and anyway, i know it may seem pointless, but i dont particualrly like WRX's or RX'8s, otherwise i would have got one in the first place haha

Modding the car to resemble a Mugen RR was my plan in the first place anyway, the civic is just the shell . and honda quoted me 15k for brand new K20a engine installed hahaha.

k20a FTW!! my overall goal would be to put that engine in the car... but right now im content on the R18A engine, see what i could do to get as much performance from a 1.8L n/a

and dont diss the FD chassis, theres a reason to why honda made a typeR from that chassis

the R18A engine is not for performance at all.

Dealer is actually willling to do a K20A swap for you? that's frigging awesome!

does that mean they have to get it from japan? 15k sounds about right... for a dealer

yeh, they will have to get it from japan. the guys at my dealer are pretty good, they can hook me up with pretty much everything apart from the mugen bodykit. apparently honda japan wants to keep it for themselves hahah

but why wouldnt you choose the ek shell? its over 200 kg's lighter to start off with and is less bulky.

trust me i love the fd chasis and shape, and how they can turn out when money is spent on them in the crrect manner. im just saying for purely racing.. older civics are better becuase its cheaper etc..

anyhow no agueing.. back to this guys car
