    Silencer won't come out

Does anybody have any ideas on how to get a silencer out?
Tried VTEC'ing it around the block still won't come out.

hey there, any idea on what type of silencer you have.

usually undoing the screw and using a set of pliers works

    Hahahha....vtecing it out lol

Um what you need to do is get crap load of CRC or wd40 and spray it around the gaps as much as you can and with a rubber or plastic sided hammer just tap around it to loosen it up and then try pull it out with plyers

Yerh was thinking of using WD-40 to get it out. It's a buddyclub exhaust. I know it's loud, but I miss the VTEC with the silencer off.

yeah vteccing it out will only heat up the pipes and make the metal expand.

trust the wd40 but seriously be generous with it and give it some time to work...make sure you tap the sides of the muffler about to loosen it up...then use the plyers. Ive had the same problem in the past.

It's stuck because of corrosion. Another product that can help getting it off is "rust off goo". Typically found in workshops. Also requires generous amounts for it to be effective.
