    Yeah D16Y1 is the 96kw SOHC VTec motor found in 1992 -1995 VTi

    Just check for sun roof and rear disk brakes plus EG5 stamped just near the radiator on the body

    Any help needed Vil just call or come over man

    Lower power actually y8 has only got 93kw. But u can feel vtec switchover more IMO. It's also more refined.

    i swear it does kick in at 4500, i may have to go and check this again..

    i found 5500rpm the point where vtec kicks in. i had never experienced vtec prior to this purchase. i got surprised as it was a first time and i am satisfied with this little car =)

    i was only originally concerned as i had inspected a car with a VTI shell, but non VTI engine. but all is now good.

    luke, i still havnt fitted those rims on. ill wear down the current rubber then put on those bronze rims

    i dont think u can really hear the cross over (or engagement as u would like to call it) that much cause its a single cam.
