    Radiator fan not engaging

I changed my coolant today but the fan doesnt engage at all. I let it idle for 10 mins and it didnt come on, so i rev'd it for a few mins to heat things up and it still doesnt come on. The temperature guage sits slightly below half way mark.

I tried it on the cold heater slider too so the heater core doesnt dissipate heat but still no go.

    Failed fan, thermostat or what?

undo the sensor on the side of the thermostat housing , and short the two connectors(wire , paper clip etc)
Does your thermo fan come on ?

In my experience doin a cooling system flush... it takes more than 20 minutes for the fan 2 come on... try 20 minutes or more.

you can get one of those davis craig thermo fan switches they are pretty cheap... then you can control at what temp the fan turns on

    So a 20 minute idle or a 20min drive?

The radiator was very hot to the touch but the temp guage sat just below half way.

Also I cycled distilled water first before putting blue type 2 coolant, and fan didnt kick on either.

i changed my coolant last time and it took ages as well. jsut be patient and monitor your temps while driving. If the temps are nothing alarming then it should be fine
