they all the same?
found the part number for the b16a2 dizzy rotors, can't find a b18c one to match it up to though
guess it's about time i replaced mine
just a fyi to everyone
it is indeed the same, design's a bit different but it fits the same
seems half of the contact was pitted and burnt
vinny get the solid metal Vision Motorworks one from eBay shop autodinamics
had the same prob.. was getting inconsistent spark coz of the burning/pitting.. plus thanks to the ricey clear dizzy caps i was also able to realise the rotor burning because it was glowing.. i got a youtube clip of it if your interested?

you showed me the glowing rotor remember?
it's okay, changed it already with an oem item
changed my timing a bit though strangely enough had to hit it with the timing light again
car drove fine, just had an odd shudder around 2-3.5krpm(which i've actually yet to verify whether it was the problem or not) will find out soon
edit; fyi did not fix my chassis shaking problem car does seem to drive smoother though
yeah when i reset my timing on the rooted rotor, it was off randomly between 1-2* when i installed the new one because of the spark jumping at random points on the rooted rotor contact.
the new solid metal one perfectly sparks off the middle everytime

say changing the rotor shouldn't affect timing hey?
i realised after changing the rotor and reinstalling the dizzy i had to retard the timing a bit to get it back to the stock 16deg
shouldn't happen right?
yeah sounds right actually
rotors on fine, sparking on a different position on the rotor would probably make the difference since only about 1/4 of the old rotor was actually not burnt and pitted
double checked the timing again today and it seemed to be spot on(knocked it back to how it was before just for giggles, WAYYYY advanced looked about 7mm away from the 18deg marker)
