Greddy e-manage on a d16y4 automatic Civic - Anyone done it?

    As above.

I had the e-manage and was gonna do it.Plans changed and didn't.Plans have fallen through so I'm thinking about it again.

I'm after some real knowledge from experience.

    Thank U.

I would just like to smooth out the rev range...and have some more pep under 4000rpm.

It holds back in the lower revs,it just dosen't feel like it's runnin as good as it could be down low.Once it gets above 4k it goes hard, before then it feels like it's holding back.

I like how it kicks in hard at 4k (non vtec) but dont like how it holds back/hesitates and is generally not smooth/rough before that. That's why I got it in the first place to try and smooth it all out.

It's not bad or anything I just wonder how much better/smoother the e-manage would make it.

What other mods are done to the car?

what sized rims do you have ? Go back to 15 or even 14inch to claim back some of that "pep".
Being an auto , it saps a considerable amount of power and you never are really in control of how that power is applied either.

    15's Benny.

I know I know, great point mate. That's the thing too,it's difficult too control the power.I mean I got it pretty wired after 4 years but there's only so far you can go to control that power cause the delivery is not completely smooth.Rough-ish under 4k and EVERYTHING after 4k to 6.5k
I feel if there was a smoother delivery of power then you could control delivery far better and I was hoping the e-manage may be able to achieve that.

It'll smooth out the power curve and make the most of the mods you've done. It's up to you whether you think it's worth the money to have it installed and tuned though as it wont guarantee torque where you want it.

I can't find a comparitive graph atm but here's my B16's curve as it currently is with the e-manage, I/H/E, forgies, raised comp, upgraded fuel pump and adj. regulator. Tuned at HPR.
Before the tune it was running very lean and wasn't as smooth. Gave a 13kw gain.

Yea I'm trying to find the usb drive with the rest of the graphs on it.
I might just drop by the shop and get John to throw them on another usb stick for me.
I have a drawer full of the damn things lol
