    DC2R 4.7 Final Drive into b16 box, any thoughts

    how you going peeps, just wondering what are your thoughts on putting
    DC2R 4.7 Final Drive into b16 box,
    has any done this before.
    will there be any custom fab work needed or since its a still on the same "B" family will it go straight in?

    I think you will need to change 1st gear and a few other bits as well.
    Better off buying an aftermarket Final drive, and the go 4.9 hur hur

    I was considering the same thing, but theres too many parts required from the itr box, not a straight swap. would be easier to just buy an itr box or go with aftermarket

    thanks heaps guys,

    where do you recommend i go for gears to suit my box,
    is it that much noticeable going to 4.7 or a lil higher. or not really worth the $$$, iv already got spoon lightened flywheel coming

    relatively stock B16a - 4.9 ..but thats just me...

    110km I'm sitting on 4500 rpm because I have ATS gear ratios as well. Bah it's OK, i'll live with it...
