what do you want out of the car?

do you want to goto the race track? do you want a sports car or a hot hatch?

do you need it for a daily driver?

if u want a daily driver that looks like a sports car than i would get an Integra Type-S

if u want a daily driver that u can also take to the track i would get an Integra Type-R

if u want something thats a little different but not a sports car, thats lighter and fun to drive get the Civic Type-R

all of them have K20's and all of them respond well to modifications

im sure others can go into more detail - good luck with the decision

    EP3R, unless u get a jdm dc5r
Would you change the life you love, for the love of your life?

    I drive a DC5R, i came from no honda background information wat-so-ever
    Ill tell u obviously get a DC5R..
The pride in these cars is to try get these as stock as you can as you'd want to bring these up yourself and make them into a beauty of a car, but thats me, if you wanna continue on sumone elses work go for it.

I like EP3 TypeR's but they don't do much for me, word of warning as sum1 else said..
DC5R's are not good on long ass drive's of 200-300km plus, i can do about 250km before it starts to kill me, if you wanna do those sorta drive's along the track get a Type S instead.

Whichever u pick at the end your going to love your choice, can't go wrong with a honda

You should get ep3R, it is a tru type R and not the lame version of the 5c5r that we got....

but good thing is when i take em on at the lights.
My mate in his comodore SS was even shocked when we had a go.

does someone have a technical breakdown of the difference between engines, ride height? etc

i think the best and easiest way to decide would be to go and drive both and decide for yourself

the EP3 has alot more pedigree as a true type-r and receives great reviews etc (top gear for example) but personally i dont like the interior and the only 'hot hatch' ive ever liked is the EK

i like having the 'coupe' style car myself ... but the EP3 is better for 'sleeper attak' on ignorant ford/holden drivers =p
