also be carful not to hit the sparkplug area on the engine as you will have problems driving, if you do you will need to blow the water out

i know its important to cover up the dizzy but also the battery coz u dont wanna leave water on and rust ur terminals

driving it round for 10 - 15 mins after u clean engine helps in dispersing water as well as it not great to leave water sitting in the engine bay

Yeh i think limbo's on the money i forgot to mention i always cover my plugs. If water gets in there which it will it needs to be blown out with an air compressor and left to dry for 30mins or so. If even a little bit of water gets in there the cables sweat and it keeps the moisture inside. Dont think revving your car whilst is spluttering and miss firing will clear it out because it wont.

If you have an alarm, don't forget to cover that too

my dizzy is sealed up so i don't bother covering it. I only cover my alarm horn, fuse & battery. I've been doing this for the last 3 years...
