    clutch problemm!!

    ok well
having only had this car for a week..
    im spewing!!

well today there was a point where my clutch pedal just got stuck halfway and i kicked it bak up with my foot.
today luckily rite outside my outside my house
the car would not go into any gear
    and i lost the pedal.
meaning that it goes rite in and doesnt come out unless it kick it back out.
    theres no feeling at all.

now i checked the clutch fluid and it was gone
and i think there is a leak in the slave cylinder.

now can anyone tell me how much it costs to replace one of these
and if so should i also get the master cylinder replaced too as i heard that if u change the slave..the master cylinder goes in a couple of weeks too

so any help would be much appreciated
and if someone could tell me how much it costs to change these

    thanks
    =D

was the fluid completely gone? any visible leaks?
if not try to bleed the system first and get rid of any air bubbles and try again.

if you see the leak then its gone. no point bleeding it and it will leak anyway.
not sure about the master going though.

ive changed a few slave cyl in my life, and if there is now need to change master cyl, it will do fine. check the seal on the master cyl to see if it is leaking, where the clutch pedal bolts against the firewall, there is a black seal. slighlty peel it back, and check if theres leaks, if so, then its best to change both. i can organise you gen honda parts, at trade price if you are located in melb. hope this helps

Just change both together. You can order them through repco. Dun really need genuine parts. I changed mine 2 yrs ago and have no problems til now. they only cost like hundred plus and you can bleed them urself.
