    Question Transmission Swap

    Is it posible to swap the auto (Semi-auto) to a manual trans? I'm looking at buying a 4th gen but its a slush bucket..

    dont even think about man, buy a manual straight up. you would need: manual gear box, clutch lines, clutch slave & master cylinder, brake and clutch pedals, electrical harness for reverse, mounts (i think). and thats just the top of my head. best of luck

    you can convert a 4th gen to MT with out to much trouble if you have all the bits. 4th Gen was never semi auto

    if you can source the parts cheap/at all then your more than halfway there,
    the installation part isnt that hard !

    Yes it can be done, and if you can source the parts cheaply and do most of the work yourself it is relatively cheap too. However with manual Preludes readily available I think it simply makes more sence to look a bit harder and find a manual to begin with.

    I have a manual tranny for sale if you end up going that route but yeah easier to just buy a manual lude straight up!
