Importing face lift 04-05 ep3 civic type-r

Was just wondering if any body out there has imported the face lift 04-05 ep3 civic type r.
I am able to view and source them from Japan but i am yet to find someone who is able to do compliance on the 04-05 model, they say something about that the emission regulations change in that year or some reason like that...

Iv also seen a couple of the face lift ep3 r's on carssales one in melb and one in perth.....but that was like 6 months ago......

If somebody knows of a place that can help me comply this particular vehicle your help would be greatly appreciated.

Im from melb, but any place in aus is ok......

you will find that most if not all compliance shops are not willing to comply "walk in" cars. ie they only comply cars they import themself.

Shogun complied my 05.

they are up in Brisbane 07 3881 1772. ask for Ben.

they did my as well (im from perth) took a bit longer but it was all good at the end

No I didn't but I know guy that imported it, I got few parts from his R as well hehe
