    2009 accord lip spoiler

    Hi,

I found on ebay this spoiler that seems replica on the genuine honda spoiler.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAINT...Q5fAccessories

I also found a couple of chrome griller inserts and it seems a really good price.

My question is: is the american accord so similar to our aussie version so that we use parts from US?

Has anyone purchased one by any chance?

I'd be careful with that one. It is a possibility. Have you asked your dealer how much standard genuine Honda Lips are? I'm looking to get one myself.

Seems expensive. Have you tried calling other dealers and asking to beat the price? Just a matter of calling around I think.

    Where are you based?

That should be fine its only a boot trunk spoiler.. fitment wont be a problem.

All Honda dealers in Australia will be the same price so theres no use to ring around.

895 for a grill?? what a rip off and its ugly as hell,

1500 for paint leather and tint rip off wont protect anything...

695 for a i pod adaptor rip off..
365 for pedals, rip off, buy genuine ones off ebay for cheaper..

trunk spoiler for 695 is a rip aswell,

Honda is just a rip off.

I would rather buy a Genuine Full bumper replacement Mugen kit with all that money.

yeah grill is not to my taste, saw a much nicer mugen grill online

lot of debate around paint protection but can be found cheaper elsewhere if you really want it. Leather, some good Meguires stuff would do it. Tint, good prices from Trent Karrow at TKO window tinting in Vic Park. Good guy and knows what hes doing.

prices are what the dealer is trying to sell for but found link in forum from R - Type with all prices from honda and much cheaper than they quoted. Will go back with my own prices now and see what they say.

Will post what they agree on

Yeah thats it man, Do your own tinting elsewere, Leather proction from Meguiars pack, paint proctection dont waste your time, if you wash your car and look after its paint, polish and wax every now and then, you wont need that crap.

Give it a try if they do cheaper than at least you save a few bucks.
