    OBD2 or OBD1???

    Hello,

I did a search and there seems to be conflicting info. Basically i'm trying to find out whether Civic EK1 with D16Y4 has OBD2 or OBD1 connection in the ECU.

I'm wanting to connect a Greddy Intel Informeter but that requires OBD2.
Also does anyone know if i will get Oil temp, Water temp if it does connect?

    Cheers

its neither OBDI or OBDIIa or b

its custom to CXi only using 2 of the OBDI connectors. ECU is OBDIIa era

for your purposes it conforms to obd2 diagnostics & should have a suitable obd2 port to plug up to.

what ecu-man is saying is the ecu plugs dont conform to the usual honda layouts.

stock setup doesnt monitor oil temp,so no,u will not magically gain that function, but u should get water temp.

GLi is the same as CXi,

and you will not find an OBDII port on them either, just the 3 pin DLC connector and 2 Pin SCS
