    Which coolant to use for FD1?

    Yup, as topic, which coolant brand? 09 civic thanks!

    edit: also is it ok to mix coolant brands?

    the exact same to use for ALL hondas.

    Honda type 2 coolant. Get it from honda.

    Do NOT mix coolant types....

    Agreed. Honda Type 2 coolant, which is the blue one. It comes standard in your FD1 when it comes from the factory.

    its an older style type 1 coolant. dont worry.

    ooo phew...i replaced it with water since it leaked out when i was doing my intake, is that ok?

    Mixing coolant and water is no problem.
    Mixing coolant with a different coolant is a BIG problem.

    Just make sure you dont have only water in there and get it replaced at the scheduled service.
    Honda coolant is pretty good for what it is.
