    Tyre life on 08 CRV

The Bridgestones ( Made in Thailand ) that have come with the car seem to have shallow tyre depth plus they are noisy on certain road types. My last 02CRV came with BF Goodrich as original equipment and i got 50,000kms, by the look of these tyres i will be lucky to get 20,000kms.

Has anyone put other brands on yet?

20,000kms on a set of tyres! I would check your wheel alignment!
Our CRV has driven 30,000km since March 2008 and the tread is fine (about 50% left)

we have got about 27XXX km's out of our tyres on the V and they are looking fairly ordainary ( I am hoping to put a set of bigger rims on) Has any one looked in to what sizing will fit and still be legal? (we are in QLD) I'm having a hard time finding rims with a big anough offset in an 8" by either 18 or 19... Any help would be appreciated..

We've got a 06 Crv and currently got 52k kms on the original tyres. They'ed be only 5k kms left on them though.

What sort of wear have you got on your tyres? Is it even? check them out right accross the tread.
