    DC5R Clutch pedal

    ok today my clutch went weird on me.
    Its making a clicky sound as i come off the clutch but when it goes in its perfectly fine, no dramas there.

    Anyone got an answer?
    Could it be the humdity as melbournes temperature has gone nuts >.>

    If it is anything like the first link - outside the cabin (clutch/gearbox assembly) then it could be your clutch release lever - mine started doing it the other day when it was raining and really humid.

    Haven't heard it again since... :S

    But, if it's a click noise inside the cabin (coming from the pedal box) then let me know - i've got the fix for you.

    You can test that your issue is the same as mine was by (using your hand) pressing on the clutch pedal (as you would with your foot), but add a bit of sideways pressure (towards the centre console) as you press toward the firewall. Try this a few times. If the noise goes away or there is a definite change in the noise as you do this - we're 'on the money'.

    If the above happens for you - let me know and i'll let you in on the fix.
