"dual" button in the euro climate control

Just wondering what the "dual" button is on the climate control section it sits just under the volume button for the radio.

I press it and there's not a noticeable difference in a/c or anything?

not too sure what it does?

    any info would be great.

    cheers

The owner's manual should tell you what it is but isn't it always easier just to ask someone else?

The dual option gives you dual zone climate control (passenger + driver's side). Enable it and you can set two different temperature zones for the passenger and the driver.

sorry im not good with explaining.

When the dual button is activiated, you can control the driver and the passenger side temperature separately.

i have it on my 08 Accord aswell.

Yep, so if u turn the dial on teh passenger side to diff temp than the driver, then dual will come on. If you don't like this happening, press it and it will turn it off and make them both teh drivers temp.

did you try it on both extremes ?

so does it just shoot different temp of air out or what. or how does it regulate passenger and driver side. surely after a while the temprature balances out anyway if one side is cooking and other side is freezing
