I have the INJEN cai in my DC5S, works well and sounds awesome! $500 from JDM Yard.

No point getting the Mugen unless you get the bonnet to go with it..

mugen one sounds pretty quiet, similar loudness as stock

    Injen definitely sounds louder

Like what Mu Secret said; Mugen is not that loud compared to injen or GruppeM. With the injen, it's definately loud (Especially in vtec), even when you're driving normally <3k rpm, you can hear a more aggressive sound while you're driving...IMO go get yourself the injen (try source a 2nd hand one if you can...) and just to assure you, it's not just sound improvement...you gain decent improvement in performance as well...with such a basic/affordable mod...it's worth it

Yes, Injen def better.....even if the mugen had a mugen bar. But need to keep in mind that mugen box was not totally designed for outright power!

If you want performance and have a box style intake, then gruppem. If you just want value for money and best performance gain, then injen.
