    Driving Without Bonnet

I apologise in advance for putting this as a "technical" question.

But I'm going to driving without a bonnet for approx 20kms on Thursday on my way to pick up a carbon fibre one. Just wanted to ask (aside from rain, in which case the deal is off) is there naything i should be aware/wary of?

I'm not even sures whether i should be doing this

Definitely illegal, I'd try and sort something else out if you can.
    Bought from: Taleb Tyres, scyt7e

ofcourse its illegal. Why would you think otherwise ?

you have no excuse to drive anywhere with such a large item missing. It is dangerous and illegal.

    1. Get a mate to follow to carry your bonnet back or
    2. depending on the car , the OEM bonnet will easily fit in the rear of the car or
    3. drive there yourself in a van or ute and pick up the bonnet yourself.

    dont be stupid.

Im sure you would not want to be a Pedestrian getting hit by a Car without a bonnet

If the cops see you on the street with no bonnet, you may as well start holding your ankles as soon as you see them.

I'd hire a ute or see if you could pay someone say $50 for their troubles to help you out with the logistics

just get some good shiny plastic like pond liner and cut to size

get some nice line and thread through enough holes and tie to car so it holds it down at what ever speed you are going to do

should look like a fake black bonnet which is all the fashion atm

coppers wont be able to tell the difference at speed passing you
if the are behind you they cant see the bonnet anyway lol

why would rain effect this decision in any way? i dunno if you realised all the GAPING HOLES that let you see through to the ground in your engine bay, contrary to popular beleife water can actually get through those GAPING HOLES if its been raining or something, and be sure to glad wrap your engine bay when you wash your car so it doesnt get wet, the outcome coule be disasterous!!!!
