dont go cheap on a dc2r, especially if ur an enthusiast and enjoys driving it hard....... either oem stuff, or aftermarket better stuff................. for my dc2r, it was OEM all the way for everything except spark plugs (due to boosted engine)
Feo for oil..platinum spark plugs and spoon leads..
Quote oh dear ****ing lawd. my d*ck did more than move. it jumped out of my pants, and tore the fly open....
ngk bkr7e-11 for the plugs ngk leads too honda feo for engine oil, just change it on the regular basis and you'll be right
Sydney Garage Cleanout! B series valve cover, hardrace compensator arms and more.
Decided against diy so I've got my mechanic (Honda specialist) on the job. Getting an oem timing belt kit now. He was going to put in regular ngk plugs but I told him to use platinums. Leads apparently are fine so I'll be leaving those. Changing the oil filter, fuel pump and coolant. All oem. Don't know what engine oil he'll be using though??? Didn't ask. Looked like he had a shitload of Mobil in storage.

As a minimum, what engine oil should my mechanic be using? Saw he had mobil. Should have I asked for anything else?
He's using Mobil S S 10W40. Will it do the job?
y is he changing fuel pump???? or do u mean fuel filter??? Thanks for the rep WATAJK
Sorry, yeah I meant the filter.
I've asked him to use Honda FEO now in the engine and tranny. I wasn't sure about the Mobil semi synth, I feel more confident with the FEO. Appreciate the info guys.
