    Torque Steer

    What are peoples experience with Torque steer after modifiying DC2 R. Do the Turbo cars have painful torque steer??

    i dont have one so i cant comment on my experiences... however the R has a snazzy differential, i believe its a torsen type helical number...

    these diffs are torque based limited slip diffs, provided you didnt explode it with the new engine characteristics it should behave similarly to standard with respect to the torque differences allowed across the axle and associated torque steer effects

    as far as i understand it, more torque into the front wheels will always induce more torque steer but the lsd should mitigate these effects, particularly a mechanical type lsd (i believe it should limit "the same as before" up until the point where the gear set gives up). it would be interesting to hear from peeps that have vti-r/gsi turbos through an open diff compared to rs... my 2c
