Talking The New Stance - King lows + KYB Gas Shocks

KYB Gas Shocks are meant to be a stock replacement for the stock shocks. My old shocks had 120,000km's and 14 years on them.So for $400,I went for these and they feel Great Much firmer than the old ones but not stiff or anything like that, just comfortable.Say for example when the car would drop into a dip,no longer does it want to bottom out,it's nice and solid, feels awesome.Great in the corners,I'm super happy.Plus there is some clearance there as I drive in the bush a bit, sometimes dirt roads.
The King lows have 20,000km's on them and are a great match to the KYB's.
So this is how it sits on my 96EK1 Sedan:

From that angle I understand but, well, maybe I'll think about it...I do love the 15's.

How much do you think will the 16" fill out the gap?

The only way an EK can pull off 15s is if its dumped to the shithouse

what size tyres are on it?

Good stuff beez, finally got rid of those stock shocks eh. Good to see you are happy. Would be good to have it sitting a bit lower, but sounds like you wont be doing that

    Agreed with trism

I know what ya mean and that's why it sh!tted me having that gap there but I need the clearance, being out in the bush.

I have smashed my headers and had the gaskets replaced 5 times now.I'm over it.Maybe I need 16's to fill the gap out?

    Thanks Alexx,yeah I finially made a decision

And I'm just so happy,I truely am,couldn't be happier,so the patience paid off in the end mate

The good thing is,the longer ya wait, the more ya get accustomed to how it is,so when ya do change it,it's just such a good change/improvement!!

    Patience truely is a Virtue.

    Been on the tyre calculator:

    http://www.tyresite.com/tyrecalc.asp

So I am looking at diameter to 'fill out' the gap!

ATM - 215/45/15 is what I have and the diameter is 575mm.

What is the 'normal' size tyre for a 16" rim - 215/55/16 or 215/50/16?
