    205/45/16 for civics

Go with 205/50/15 next time you change tires, they are a bit taller than 215/45 and will 'fill the gap' a bit more.

Yea 205/55 will look like a tractor tire and throw your speedo out a fair bit. Go with 205/50 for sure

    Thanks brotha!

    205/50/15 = 586mm diameter

atm it's 575mm,so it's only 5mm either side but I can imagine it would fill it out enough to help hide the gap.

It looks like the best option atm

When U put in 215/50/15 it says the diameter is 596mm.

Why would going a little wider increase the diameter? Is there something obvious I am missing or is it odd..

    Yeah,I'm happy with it,definately!!

If I can fill the gap out a lil',it would be sweet. It dosen't worry but

I don't wanna go any lower, that's forsure. The height is perfect.

The profile is a percentage of the width, hence why the diameter increases as the width increases for a constant profile

You are correct, 205/50 will not fill the guards completely, but don't go any higher on the profile, it will look stupid.

215/50 is an expensive size and hard to find in aus, don't bother with it.

Best way to get rid of the gap if thats what you are after, is go with 205/50 and lower it a little bit more. But yea you wont do that haha
