    3' is ok. We ran S2000 cat with 2 resonators + straight thru muffler. Wasnt loud on cruise but once WOT, its over legal limit.

    yes it does seem rather big and most "exhausts shops" wud tell u to stick a 2" on there, but 3" is proven on the dyno to give great gains on H and K series engines

    i've seen a few and they are loud.
    Just need to run a larger resonator and good quality muffler, will still be loud but, that the sacrifice your gonna have to make

    i run 2.25" inch with hiflow metal cat, magnaflow resonator, magnaflow rear muffler.. and to me its perfect!

    my bro's runninga 3" from header collector back with high flow cat, hot dog resonator and supercat cannon muffler back on his toda built dc5r and it is fkn loud as fk! definately cop bait!!

    i'm running a 2 1/2" same setup, mine's pretty quiet also

    is an S2000 cat plug n play / bolt on to a DC2R with JDM header and cat back? is there any different in AP1/AP2 cat?

    I dont think there is such thing as a quiet 3"
    Even if there is I highly doubt it after 3000rpm.
