    rim question from newb

hi guys, i'm thinking of purchasing the work wheel emotion xd9 on my Dc5s.

Never purchased rims before as this will be my first time all of the car is stock standard.

what would i need to keep in mind when purchasing and putting these rims on?

would the rims be to big to fit?

i dont know if i should go 17's or move up to 18s?

if moved up to 18's would i experince less power and more sluggish of car performance?

also, would these rims be performaning better than stock or would it be just for looks?

    thanks in advance

make sure you check the offset just to be sure that they will fit inside your guards, depending on the wheels.. most of them should fit ok..

Technically 18's will slow it down as it has a larger rolling diameter and will prob be heavier.. but that also depends on the new rims weight as opposed to the stock rims..

If you go 17's and they are lighter and wider than stock then potentially they would feel better than your existing wheels and give a bit better performance/handling..

    hope that helps..
    dc5r in the works....
