    Sale value on cbr600rr's?

    Dont know if this topic has been covered yet.

    Just need to kow how much are cbr600rr's are worth these days. Just say from 04-08 models. Currently looking for one to purchase.

    for an 04-08 its gonna be between 8-13k depending on km's and condition

    Bikesales would give you a good indication of what the average price is, and probably the best indicator for price, but another option would be to see what insurance companies believe is the market value (e.g. run a test quote on AAMI website), or you could call the RTA and ask them if they have records for the value of a particular model.

    Really the RTA are acutally allowed to tell you the sale value than again ppl usually right down a lower sale value on the disposal slip.

    I know that this used to be the case but not anymore, regardless of the figure you enter on the disposal slip, the RTA has a valued amount on their registry for all make/models of vehicle which is registerable in Aus...

    yeah thats correct anywhere from 8-13.
    the lower the price are usually repairable write offs, extrremely high kms.
    reason being hondas are just soo good to ride. hahaha

    What are the common problems I might come across if the bike has high K's?

    i guess just like a car..
    you just never know..
    i had a mate who bought a lemon ended up needing a engine transplant
    where abouts you.. may be able to give you a hand.. inspecting a 600rr
