Unhappy Request: Hit and run rear bumper not flush

Hey guys i had a hit and run done on me a couple months ago while i was asleep! LOL and i got another bumper which now because of the hit and run will not sit flush[as in pic]. Anyone know how i can fix this?
Note my rear boot was moved less than 1cm unnoticeable unless looked at real close.
    Cheers

Look at the points where it's not lining up, and if you can, just punch it in line..

Tried that, it just seems not to push in enough on the sides/ doesn't push forward enough, my mate/mechanic doesn't seem to be able to do it so think it has to go to the panel beaters unless someone can help fix LOL

ur clips that connect ur bumper to the panel arebroken or damaged hence not holding....i had similar problems when my mum put it in the rong gear and reversed her car into my front bar...

what u can do is go under from the inside drill sum holes and cable tie it to make it look flush. or u can take it to panel beaters. they will either replace it or use silicon adhesive which u can also try doing urself.

    isnt your bumper just plastic
so if you take it off it will revert to its natural shape

after that, you can take a look at the screws that hold the bumper on
they have probably been twisted, or the plastic gaskets snapped w/e

maybe you can just replace those (screws, gasket thing)

or go to junk yard and get another bumper for 100 bux

    good luck..

I got the bumper for 100, i had to get rid of the hit one.
Just removed and checked it again, i realised that a couple stuff were bumped into wrong places, i got a clamp and bent it properly but still no prevail, i got one side good now but still 1 side is a bit more out of place. Just gonna take it to a mate which is a beater and fix it. Thanks for the input though guys.
