    hks hipermax coilovers

    any good for the dc2? how do inspect it to find out the conditions

    if the coilover is dirty you can sometimes see were it is leaking.

    im using HKS HIPERMAX PROs for my dc2r... VERY stiff but unbelievable control.. dwn side is the fact of the spring rates being so stiff makes them hard to adjust with JUST adjuster spanner hooks... but if u ask me they r great.. im currently looking for some pillow ball top mounts for them... also hav a good mate who has the same ones in his R34 GTR Vspec2 i must say slightly more comfortable in the gtr tiny bit softer..

    They are quite an expensive coilover system tho ur loooking at around 3k new

    how much are the pillow ball top mounts ?

    thanks for the help =D so the handling on the coilies are good hey i thought they wouldnt be too good on the dc2 cos i thought hks are mainly for nissan haha

    just get it, and if its not for u just sell it off.

    Its a pretty good price man, sure u can resell it if anything. Hit me up if u need me to install them.

    yee man they go awesome! paired them up with some skunk2 cambering arms front and rear with a beaks tie bar and my car feels like its glued.. just make sure u tune it properly.. so get someone who knows wat they r doin to tune it
    they r pretty heavy duty too.. hit a BIG pothole at night once which buckled my rim checked the shocks fearing for the worse.. but nothing lol still good as new!

    nah dont have to be, this s14 i worked on the other day had hks tops on his teins. and ive seen a supra ages ago with hks bottoms and no brand tops lol.

    hmm i shall shop around i want the same colour as the shocks tho black and gold... teins r gold so i mite look into them
