flimsy/loose door handles with Honda HRV models?

anyone else experiencing this?

Mine just gotten loose after heavy rain... it seems like a rubber filling inside gave way and is now loose and flimsy... the door handle still opens alright and the back passenger door handles are still tight but my drivers door handle just became loose and flimsy like the passenger door handle.

I suspect this is a common flaw and issue with HRV models. Is there a write-up here or a thread about this already? I tried searching...

let me clarify this in case u guys dont know what i am talking about:

the tab that you lift to open the door clearly has a lever that it pulls on to open the latch, and also a spring to pull the tab down again. Now I think the return spring has failed because the handle is extremely "light" to lift and open the door, and only just pulls itself down again when released.


its so light that when u try to pull the "tab" (or outside handle) to pull the door open, it doesnt stay closed because its so loose. Unlike if it was a normal one the tab will remain in the closed position while you pull the door open because its still tight.
