    Someone should maybe get in contact with the guys that did the test and get them to retest all the filters to see which one is the currently the best..

    Personally I don't think using a different pod will make that much of a difference anyway. An engine breathes x amount of air and I think most pods would suffice.

    I just recommend 3A Racing because they did very well in that old test, so I think they must have a fair idea of what they're doing, and their products are super cheap by comparison. Good value for money.

    Very good. This is what I have at present. Prol one of the best filters out there atm. Very well thought out design.

    I see...but what's the function of the black tubey thing?

    I did a quick google search but only really got a vague answer...

    Black tubey thing? Thats the silicon joiner, Velocity stack - intake pipe. It blue on my setup.
