What do you guys think, will my serbian team start in march?? I think they got very good chance, they should've been there before USf1 and campos anyway, they got better facilities than most other teams including big names (I'm talking about wind tunnels, testing grounds and fabrication facilities)
Hope they make it and if they do I think they'll put up a good fight, remember they got toyota 2010 car plus all of their support, including stuff and tehnical support.

Stefan GP sends equipment to Bahrain

By Jonathan Noble Tuesday, February 2nd 2010, 12:18 GMT

Stefan Grand Prix has shown it remains determined to race in Formula 1 this season, despite having no entry, after sending equipment to the first race in Bahrain.

The Serbian team has made no secret of its intention to join the F1 grid in 2010, having reached provisional agreement with the former Toyota team for technical support - which is believed to include the right to use the Japanese manufacturer's original 2010 car and engine.

And although the team's hopes of getting a late entry rests on one of the current new teams failing to make it, Stefan GP is not holding back in making sure it is ready just in case.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the team said that it had dispatched items to Bahrain – even though all the new teams remain adamant that they will be on the grid for the season opener.

"Stefan Grand Prix...becomes the first team in F1 history who did send a 40 foot container full of equipment to the race in Bahrain without having entry for 2010 season," said a statement issued by the team.

Stefan GP has said previously that if it does not get an entry, it still plans to test throughout 2010 prior to making a push for a grid slot in 2011.

Stefan ends Campos hopes by buying Dallara car – reports

Kazuki Nakajima, Ralf Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve linked with Stefan’s 2010 plans

The ambitious Stefan GP outfit may have this week hammered the final nail into the coffin of the 2010 formula one entrant Campos.

Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport, and Finland’s Turun Sanomat, report that notwithstanding A1 boss Tony Teixeira’s desire to buy into Campos, the Spanish team may be unable to race this season.

Because Campos fell behind in payments to its car constructor Dallara, the Italian company may have sold the rights to Campos’ car to Stefan GP.

It means that even if Campos comes up with the money to pay its overdue bills, including to the engine supplier Cosworth, it will not have a car for 2010.

Stefan GP reportedly does not intend to actually use the Campos/Dallara chassis, because it is well advanced with preparations to run Toyota’s 2010 package.

In addition to Kazuki Nakajima and Ralf Schumacher, also Jacques Villeneuve is being linked with Stefan’s 2010 plans.

It means Bruno Senna’s grand prix debut is now uncertain, and the Brazilian admitted on Wednesday that Campos will “hopefully” begin winter testing “in the near future”.

Stefan GP sign Toyota deal
Serbian outfit acquire Toyota infrastructure

Stefan Grand Prix have taken another major forward towards securing an entry into Formula One.

Zoran Stefanovic, the man behind the Serbian outfit, has signed an agreement with Toyota Motorsport that will see them benefit from the Japanese manufacturer's technical knowhow.

"Stefan GP has just come to a basic agreement with Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) that Stefan GP will receive technical supports from TMG," a statement from the team read.

"Further details will be released to the press in due course."

With Toyota having withdrawn from F1 at the end of last season, the team will also take over their former base in Cologne.

Stefan GP still have hopes of entering the 2010 World Championship and insist they are ready to unveil their team in time for the season opener in Bahrain on March 14.

Their chances depend on either one of the current 13 teams dropping out or, in the longer term, agreement being reached for another team to be added.
