All the B series boxes are strong. What sorta power are you looking at. If you want simplicity. Keep the lower ratio Vtir box and just add a LSD to it.

thats what i was going to say Dean, the ITR box has shorter ratio's which will make traction a difficulty for a big power turbo... probably better off putting an LSD in the VTIR box

Get a b18b box with an aftermarket 1.5way LSD.
    Even longer gears.
But id say thats for cars with 200+kw atw.

Short ratios with a big powered front wheel drives arent very practical.

250KW + up to 350kw to be safe

i was told that my box would break and that the strongest option is the Type R box but i dont know what ratios either or is or what sort of power rating they have?

what sort of money is it to put a LSD into the vtir box?

Its pretty much bolt on bolt off.
Take the final drive ring gear off the old diff and put it on the new one. Bolt it back up and off you go.
Im pretty sure that the vtir and dc2r share the same driveshaft. Since the later model vtirs have s80 boxes without an lsd.

the only difference between the type R box and most B series boxes are the ratios and the LSD. The actual gears and other parts are all manufactured the same way, so they're not stronger. They're just better tuned for NA power.

VTiR box + MFactory Helical LSD is
