I'm sure its been covered many times if you do a search. And that link is kind of old...

Anyway, the Toyo T1R were pretty good and grippy, but with more grip it sacrifices the 'longevity' of the tyre. I had them before replacing with Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001. Currently on my car, cheap and very good grip.

I wouldn't recomend it for the street Trent. I found that they never got up to temp enough on the street and found that a decent street tyre was more grippy.

Plus the noise, the lack of wet weather grip, the sidewall stiffness, the purchase price, the life expectancy. Neg's definatly weigh out the Pro's.

Actually i'll agree with that, i had 4 potenza's on mine and i loved them, i run hankoks now and there horrible, never can get the car to hold traction in any gear, beside 4th and 5th lol.
i liked the potenza's, they didn't last long at all though i think i got about 25,000 k's out of them.

    25k km's is HEAPS.

KU36's here. Very happy with them... still running my first set (Not 100% sure on K's and there is still a few mm before the wear indicator. Great grip in wet and dry.
