im running stock c2 cams, which makes your statement invalid. My non VTEC cam stopped making power at 3800, so it makes sense to engage the VTEC cam at that rpm..maximising torque and power, Since the engine isnt producing any power on the idle cam. Engaging the VTEC AS SOON as the idle cam stops making power means the power difference when switching cam profiles is almost none noticeable, hence creating a minimal VTEC crossover point and the smoothest power delievery. Therefore, Who said you need after market cams?

BTW Vvtec..awesome vid..cant wait to see the finished product

Thanks man Can't wait myself, looking at Kiddracing headers next up, they seem to have a great reputation.

And I appreciate your input too mate, good to be able to speak to someone who's gone down the same path themselves. Cheers!

Clay bar'd my car for the first time ever today...

Wow, what a difference it makes! Not only is the paint amazingly smooth, it's as clear as glass! For those who are a bit iffy about whether or not its worth the money, I gaurantee you it is! I used the Mothers kit. Money well spent! It did more than any wash and wax has in the past.
