i feel yah man. although im not looking for the same car still having trouble find a good clean EM1 for a decent price! Had a look at one who the seller said was clean inside out, but i beg to differ. Why must people false advertise and waste others time. Where oh where are the EM1's in VIC!

It sucks! I felt cheated, and I dont want it to seem like im overreacting, but when I saw the ad saying 'imaaculate condition' and to turn up and see BOTH bumpers and BOTH tail lights broken and seals missing around the windscreen, I felt abit let down haha..and thats before I even get to the paint job.. Sure, if I had a million bucks it wouldnt be a problem, to anyone

Pat that looks clean as man, ring em up and we'll go have a look at it..I love white cars haha
-
yeahh i just hope its not another case of your red vti-r that you went through, i think that a
law should be made that owners have to always make sure their car is in a roadworthy
condition, that way its safer for other motorists that the car is around, and safer for future
buyers

It's the absolute hardest thing, but patience is the key.
It can get stressful, but don't settle for second best just because you get impatient. yep like many have found, people love to falsely advertise 'clean' cars that are anything but clean when you see it in person.
And always, always, always get an independent mechanical inspection and ask the mechanic for his opinion on the car's rwc status (if being sold without rwc) before laying down your money, no matter how tidy the car looks. You can never be too careful.
-
yeahh thats a good point, patience is essential, like i am so desperate to buy an
integra, but i don't want to get a crap one with a load of problems with it, and it's
so frustrating having to look through carsales and boostcruising like twice a day
trying to find new ones that are in good condition, like i'll settle for a gsi so long as it's in good condition
We're doing it for the children.

Yeah i'm not going to settle for anything unless it reaches my expectations for the amount of money i'm willing to put on it. Patience. It's hard to keep, but it pays off in the end.
