    carby to efi conversion??

    ive searched and i cant find the thread but its a question that prob has been asked a billion times! so can any help me find the link??

    or just give me a idea obviously im going to do an carby to efi conversion....
    1. i need fuel tank
    2. engine (no shit)
    3. Mounts
    4. fuel lines
    5. ecu.

    car is a eg civic hatch. Gl i think.

    any think else????

    see my build thread. have converted carby ED to EFI. Some pics up too

    EG would be almost identical but parts would be easier to come by

    u dont have to change the fuel lines, u can just use the ones.

    correct if im wrong but i think u have to cut the return line abit shorter because the carby fuel lines runs ont he back of the firewall to the gearbox side?

    and the efi one just ends on the power steering side.

    i thorght u had 2 change sections of the fuel line to cope with the upgraded fuel pressure

    only the soft lines need upgrading to EFI fuel hose. The hard lines are capable of handling the 45PSI. If you compare the lines they are the same. Try looking at it from a manufacturers point of view. They try cover as many models with a single part number/material.

    The lines on my ED have the exact same dimensions as the EH I stripped

    good to no i have a carby eg that i have been tossing up 2 convert or not
