    No Sprtivo or Celica love?
Good times Tim. I think group 1 was a bit too fast for me that day; wasted a lot of laps letting cars past, and then my tyres had too much pickup on them afterwards

2nd time i've run slicks, didn't go any quicker than running semi's. My best lap time is on semi's. Slicks are about $180 cheaper per corner.

Hit a witch had, and the bog in the front bar that the car yard put in it 5 years ago fell out. I put some race tape over the hole now, looks great!! Not as good as the front bar on 999's car though.

A lot of people don't realise that used slicks are stuffed as they don't heat cycle well; 2-3 cycles is about all that you'll get before they fall off a cliff in terms of lap times. Not to mention a race team wouldn't get rid of useful tyres Semi's will heat cycle 10 or so times with only a small drop in grip. Whether the drop in performance from used slicks drops them down to the same grip as semis I wouldn't know.

Tim, 10 sets is a lot! How long does each set last? You sound like a candidate for testing out all the semis on the market, shouldn't take long to collect a lot of data, haha.

Send me the tyres, i'll use them and test them for anyone. Usually get 2-3 meets on a set of fronts. Then change them to the rear cause they are no good for front.

Funny you say that, i leave my used ones out on the street. People always seem to remove them for me at no cost to me or them.
