    My friend has one on his DC5R, skunk2 Headers and J's racing exhaust.

    Hes comment was that before he had the headers bolted onto the J's racing exhaust, it was less aggressive and when shifting into lower gear the exhaust didn't have too many popping sounds. When he fitted the skunk2 headers, he had obviously more power/torque (his like you can acctaully feel the difference), and the sound of the car was aggressive (popping sounds, and vtec sounds awesome).

    He also said that compared to his other mate with the Toda racing headers, he said that;
    "My exhaust sounded better (more popping sounds than Toda), my mate had the same exhaust system (J's racing) aswell. But in preformance wise, Toda wins by a mile."

    Hope I helped,

    Hate to break it to you, but the poping sound is comming from exhaust leaks.
    My guess is reused gaskets or something along thses lines...
    FWIW, though we do sell our own exhaust systems we've also fitted & tuned DC5's with loads of different exhausts.
    In my experience, though we don't sell the SK2 product very often, there is no apparent leak or defect in the SK2 product that could casue a poping on it's own.
    So your freind should find the leak & pick up a little power in the process.
    Maybe check the header...

    His header is brand new. I don't know what "popping" sound your regarding? I'm talking about exhaust popping sounds, such as;
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX4-foL1RK4

    It's 100% fine as it is, sorry for not being really specific.

    Bennet, what kind of information are you chasing? Would you like a video?

    LOL... Ok... So launch limiter, rev limiter & too lean on over run...
    Fair enough...
    I though you mean't small backfires on overrun, not something that sounds fairly normal.
    My bad...
