    i know im a (big time!) noob but what with putting the wider rim on the FRONT of the car and the skinner one on the back?? like 18x9 on the front and 18x8 on the back for example.

    i wanna try it to see how it looks? stig?
    wake up and take some sleeping tablets.

    must be space issue at the back compared to the front?

    i think stig said before that the reason why he put the 9" at the front was so that the wheels would sit more flush

    usually people put the wider rim on the front of fwd cars is to provide more traction and less wider rims in the rear to reduce rolling resistance

    i just put a 9" rim at the front cos i could do it, and it sits more flush i would love a 9.5 in the rear though, but money is an issue lol

    i know drag racing people but wider rims on the front for traction but i was thinking more for looks seeings as my car is far from a powerful car lol

    i hate how the front wheels sit on FD's. look the opposite of camber!

    you mean positive camber, yea it looks terrible

    but i think im running at least -5 at the front

    na nothing, its just the way the air bags front shocks are designed, i just chucked it on the max negative camber lol

    took the rear rim off.

    saw where the rim is rubbing on the plastic protecting the fuel tank/lines.

    cut away the plastic where its rubbing so there was no way the tyre would touch the plastic.

    jumped in the car.

    went for a spin.

    still rubbing.

    had the rears rolled ages ago.

    **** knows what its rubbing on.

    wtf.

    perhaps u need stiffer suspension and maybe a bit of negative camber?

    true true. got a fair bit of negative camber going on already but am only rolling of pedders springs.

    love to get a set of coils.. but love to get a ticket back to thailand
