    Smile the little work log of my sol

    hey guys i m derek, nice to meet u all
    i m an international student from hong kong with limited funds,
    here's my first car and she is del sol.
    mechanical she's all good and all stock.
    the interior is a bit untidy and i m going to do it up
    btw i m in melb, it'll be great if i can meet someone who can give me technical advices

    Step Zero - All Stock

    did you install the HIDs yourself?

    EL Dial is sth like....THIS LOL
    yes i did that myself with my little asian hand,
    not being offensive but i promise big hands can't do the job unless they take the bumper and lights off (specially the passenger side)
    btw they are normal bulbs only, not xenon and anyway i don't think there're any room to place the ballart...

    Oh I see now, I think I'll look into some hid bulbs too. My lights are woeful.

    mine is 5000k bulbs
    if u want more bluish effect 6000k is suggested
    anyway if i m not on tight budget, i'll go for philip's diamond vision,
    they're far better in every aspect and quality is guaranteed (Y)

    Apparently EM1 lip fits the Del-sol OEM bar quite well.

    My friend had one his Del-sol.

    This might help you if you're taking a look at lips.

    so here're some recent updates

    pioneer for the rears

    jazz vti-s rims

    got the blocked drain drained *U*

    DC2R steering wheel on the way from japan
    changed my mind a bit
    now looking for koni upgrade and a EG6 front lip
    probably that's all
    wanna keep it as OEM as possible
