Sand down. Start with low grit sand paper, moving up to high grit/fine sand paper.
Apply bog to any imperfections (small dents) if they cant be removed.
    Apply 1-3 layers of primer.
Do a wet sand with high grit/fine sandpaper (wet sand is done with soaking the sandpaper in soapy water, also covering the area being sanded in soapy water)
Then apply 1-2 layers of primer.
Then apply how ever many layers of paint of your choice one the primer has dried.
Let the paint set (an hour or so)
Then apply the clear coat lightly and evenly. At least 2 coats.
Dont go through the steps while anything is wet. Let things set properly first. Unless youre mixing paint on the car.
