hmmmm isn't there some funky shit going on with the S-02 compared to everything else?

eg: Our S-02 @ 205/55 isn't actually the same as other 205/55's on the market, but rather is equal to about a 215 or something?

Or am I smoking some good crack?

Nah it's normal man not all tyre sizes are the same some are slightly fatter, like a 255 semi slick is fkn HUGE! compared to a 255 street tyre. That's why sometimes peoples stretch look alot worse then others but they have same size tyre + rim

the S-02s have a bigger contact patch for sure ludecrs.

    205 = 225 in other brands
225 = 245 in other brands. 8.5" tread width if im not mistaken.

nearly impossible to find that size with the right profile in 16s.

    Bridgestone make these:

Both my Advan AO-48 and Direzza 03g semi's in 235's are about 10mm wider than my Dunlop Sportmaxx 235's. Go figure.

I dont think they make s02's anymore, were they replaced by the RE01's ? and are these tyres good or better then the s02's?

LOL you should put the Z1 and the RE11 on top of the ku36 bud.
    i didnt rank em LOL!

i researched tyres for the last 2 days and learnt quiet abit
myne are just there to show the 6 diff tyres.

i wanted people to rank them based on their own opinions of use and other facts. etc..

im perosnally getting the star specs from tyre rack $660 for all four corners delivered to sydney.

    great tyre, cheap price aswell.

    he got
    205/55/16
    225/50/16

Kebab, RE001s are pretty good esp in the dry. I don't really like them in the wet though. They break traction a bit too easily and I'm running 245s on my 17s
