    k20a2 vs k20z1

just need to know what are some of the differences between the two motors?
which one is better for an ek1?
if i was to part out a dc5r or dc5s what would the values of the swaps would be?
which has the greater capacity for power outputs?

im asking these questions as i am looking into a half cut and want to see if my research findings are heading in the right direction. Thanks

K20Z1, it shares a similar camshaft/crankshaft profile of the JDM Type R

Heres the difference: K20A2 is a modified version of JDM-spec K20A to suit the fuel type in Australia.

K20Z1 is a "refined" version of the JDM-spec K20A to suit the fuel type in Australia.

...on paper, as you might have known the difference is that Type-S outputs 154kw > Aust. Type R 147kw. The Type-S also redlines higher

If you are swapping gearboxes too, the AUDM Type S gearbox has an open diff, while the Type R has a helical LSD.

You guys know how to function check an LSD in an Integra to determine its an open or helical diff by raising the car putting it into "Neutral" or 1st gear and rotating a wheel manually etc....?

Would be an educational post on how-to if anyone knows.
