Thread: Power gains

  1. #1
He might as well get a Cold Air Intake, cam gears and an SAFC in order to get some good gains. Some exhuasts alone free up around 3-5 kw @wheels. I noticed some power gains changing the exhaust cat back and a good CAI (make sure the filter hangs right behind the front bar on the bottom drivers side..

Sadly after you do exhaust and intake, any other modifications becomes expensive. Cams springs, ECU, valves headwork / pistons....are great options but with NA its lots of money for small gains, but once you do the complete package these gains add up !!!... look at toda's 10.59 second civic...

Cam gears are good if you will never geta ECU, but totally pointless if you do have a tuneable ECU that does both ignitions and fuel. I would either save for a ECU or start saving for some engine work, spend money where it will make you power, not just sound and look good.
