    just about finished engine swap d15b4 to d16y1 have noticed that the ecu code is p91 have looked on this site and can not find this any ideas

    should be P28 if you're planning on running the standard ecu. you sure you're reading the correct code?

    Thats what i thought the car that the motor came out of was running fine the ecu looked like orignal one there was a water leek and nuts were rusted on here is full code 37820-p91-000 736-7000862 awx

    its definetly a p91 and the ecu was running the vehicle

    P91 92-95 OBD1 JDM Civic Coupe (SOHC VTEC)

    Normally you'd be running a P28 with a D16Y1 as markismaximus mentioned

    I believe the JDM SOHC VTec had slightly more aggressive cams and possible a different VTec crossover point to compensate than the AUS counterpart

    Not sure what effect running a Jap spec ECU on a AUS spec motor will be though

    Thanks not sure whats going on once the fuel tank comes in and is running its straight to the dyn
