    Gearbox type for b16a

    Hi guys,

Im pretty sure that this topic has been discussed numerous times but i cant find it in the search fields. Please direct me to the link if u know it.

Anywayz my question is, iv got a Aus spec vtir civic with b16a and wanting to know what make is the gearbox (eg Y21, Y80, S80, S4C, S21 trans) so i can start looking for lsd diff for it. Iv been reading around and it seems that the ITR lsd fits. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

should have a label or sticker on your gearbox that says what type.

the ek4 (aus vti-r) gbox is the s4c code, and no the itr lsd will not directly fit alone. i would just go aftermarket lsd made specifically for the s4c box.
