Thats a nice suby
is it an rx 2.5?
Im so keen for a bilstein edition rx 2. but hard to find one with low kms and manual >.<
What engine is the 3 litre 6 out of? the new model liberty 3.0r's?
And I never new suby's had valve lift haha awesome
-
it's actually gx 2.2, but it's got billies in it, upgraded brakes, and semi-leather front seats with the drivers seat being motorised...
edit: and it's got the RX bodykit on it and has had a respray on the front and rear when i fitted the new front bar...
car has 230,000km, but motor only has 20,000km and the gearbox/diff has <100,000km i think
and yeh, the new generation H6 motors use variable lift...
here is an old dyno chart (it's been retuned since and got another 5kw) that shows the variable lift kicking in:

and some vids for those interested in what a porsche/suby/supra/skyline sounds like... :P
-
wow does that do 0-100 in under 6 seconds, very impressive
I love the shape of the rx 2.5.. such a good car for under 10 grand second hand now, just need to find a low km, manual one haha
What honda are you thinking of buying after you sell that beast
-
With a proper launch it'll do 0-97kph in about 5 secs... But I have to change to 3rd to hit 100kph; so it does it in about 6.5...
best 1/4 run is a 14.1@98mph
as far as what I would replace it with, well... If cash was added, I wouldn't mind getting into another ed or an eg... But preferably I'll end up in either an integra or an s2000... But I best save some pennies if I want one of them...
